A real eye-catcher in brilliant colors

This finely crafted pendant is decorated with a synthetic oval opal set in an openwork gallery of 14 karat gold. In the center of the opal an openwork gold setting is mounted which carries an oval orange-red spessartine. This is a very decorative pendant whose iridescent color of the opal casts certainly a spell over everybody looking at it.

The pendant is marked with the purity mark ‘585’ and the maker's mark (presumably ‘RP’) on the reverse. It is in very good condition with minor wear. The dimensions of the pendant are 50 x 40 mm, and the weight is about 30.9 grams. (cko)
