This extremely rare, almost life-size deer, is technically, as well as artistically outstanding work! The very appealing liveliness was induced to a convincing and attractive standard. Naturalism in a realistic sense is only partly present – the primary interest was focused towards depicting the “beingâ€, whereby attention to real details was subordinated.
