Four medals, a plaque and a printing block - first Maccabiah games, 1932-1935.
1. Medal issued for the first Maccabiah in 1932. A seven branched Menorah held by two figures is depicted in the center. One figure holds a flag with the inscription "Maccabi", the other figure stands next to a lion. Inscribed on the lower part are the years 132 CE and 1932 (the Bar Kokhba revolt and the date of the first Maccabiah). Diameter: 23 mm. A loop for hanging.
2. Medal with a relief of two sportswomen: a sprinter and a javelin thrower. The city of Tel-Aviv is seen in the background encircled by an inscription (Hebrew): "Maccabiahs Delegation to the Olympic games, London, 1934". It is possible that the medal was minted in honor of the Eretz-Israeli delegation to the "Women's World Games" held in London in 1934 (this was the first Eretz-Israeli Jewish deligation to International sports competitions). Diameter: 27 mm. A loop for hanging.
3. A medal awarded by the "City of Tel-Aviv to participants of the second Maccabiah", 1935. Diameter: 25 mm. A loop for hanging. Unfinished edges and loop.
4. Medal of the Chess Society of Eretz Israel, in honor of their participation in the second Maccabiah. Obverse: the Maccabiah emblem and the inscription "Second Macccabia 1935, Eretz Israel". Reverse: Emblem consisting of various chess pieces (signed) and the inscription: "Chess Society of Eretz Israel" (Hebrew). Diameter: 30 mm. A loop for hanging.
5. Plaque in honor of the second Maccabiah, with the Maccabiah emblem. Ca. 35X32 mm.
6. Printing block - inscription (Hebrew and English): "Second Maccabiah Tel-Aviv", figure of a boy on the background of the city of Tel-Aviv and the Maccabiah emblem (illustration which appeared on a poster designed by Franz Kraus for the second Maccabiah). Ca. 28X45 mm.
