The lid centered on a sunburst, having crossed leaf brackets and herringbone banding, roped and cross-banded front and sides, quatrefoil lock escutcheon; the interior beautifully fitted in pale salmon velvet, a gilt framed mirror inside lid, six small lidded compartments around central compartment, all with tiny ivory knobs, within a mahogany lift-oout tray, the concealed storage also velvet lined. 5 1/2" x 13" x 11". Minor edge repairs to veneer, faded bottom edge.
