AN IMPORTANT CIRCUMSICION SET. Austro-Hungarian, late 19th century. The box constructed of wood with brass fittings. Engraved on central cartouche “BERYL RAIZMAN” on the top and “MOHEL CASTALLA” on the front. Inside are two silver beakers, both identical and dated 1856. One is inscribed “Kos Shel Bracha” and the other “Kos Shel Metzitza”. Both are additionally inscribed with “BERYL RAIZMAN”. With additional tripod glass and silver piece. The box just under 6” tall. Each cup is just under 4” tall. Provenance Sotheby’s Tel Aviv, April 1996, lot 226.
