A late 19th century coral bangle, carved in the round to depict Eros and Psyche embracing, with love birds and scrolling detail, hinged to the stylised branch coral half-bangle. Untested for natural colour origin. Inner diameter 5.8cms. Weight 49.7gms.

The lot is in fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The coral is broken approximately an inch or so either side of the clasp, with a slightly discoloured crack visible and glue. Scattered, mostly small polyp holes, with slight discolouration.
