This Benrus Sky Chief, Ref. VZ 3, watch was made in USA circa 1945. It is fitted with a manual movement with 17 jewels, caliber Valjoux 72 (Swiss made), and displays hour, minute, seconds, and chronograph. The black dial has printed luminous Arabic numeral hour-markers, tri-compax-style registers with white Arabic numerals and 1/5 seconds outer ring, and silver luminous Index and silver Fils register hands. Watch case, crown, pushers, and snap-on caseback are made of stainless steel. The case number is 280. The watch has a black leather strap and pin buckle.

The watch case diameter is 35mm and 15mmm in height. The strap length is 21cm and the lugs width is 18mm. Hallmarked on the caseback. Timepiece is in good age-related condition with minor traces of wear and slight, even speckling on dial. During in-house testing the watch was fully functional. Overhaul is recommended at the buyer’s expense. Long-term precision and regularity cannot be guaranteed.
