This is a static Mark IV Tricorder seen in Star Trek: The Next Generation. This piece is made of vacuformed plastic, and comes in the closed position. This item was used as set dressing, and as a "holster stuffer" for when background actors need a version of the tricorder on there uniforms, but did not call for a fully functioning electronics version. It does not feature applied graphics to the top or front, but does have a black line where the door of the Tricorder would have opened. This rare item is accompanied by a black holster made of particle board and covered in black felt with two pieces of Velcro on the back. This item remains in overall fine condition.
