Description
Mid-Late 15th century AD. A flat-section badge with image of a standing robed Archbishop Thomas Beckett, with mitre; openwork base of two fillets joined by rosettes. 7.65 grams, 61mm (2 1/2"). Found on the Thames foreshore at Tug Stairs, 12th March 1999, by Don Lee. Recorded with Museum of London, reference 2006/19. See Spencer, B.
