This piece has some restoration. There is a significant varnish layer to the surface. There is a craquelure throughout the surface that appears to have been stabilized with light heat. There are a light amount of touch ups to the craquelure in the figures. These range from pen tip sized  - .5" in diameter. there is a larger section of over painting on left figure's shoulder. This is still minor. These touch ups are not visible to the naked eye. There is another noticeable line of overpainting, that appears to be a stretcher bar mark, but there is no bottom line of the stretcher mark. This line is about .5" thick, and extend about 4" into the canvas. This canvas has been relined.
