This painting has restoration from the Chicago Conservation Center. This painting shows well. This has been re-stretched and re -lined. There are some light signs of over-cleaning in the sky.There is a significant vanish layer to the  background. There is a craquelure throughout this figure's dress. This is stable. Under backlight there are several areas of overpainting touch ups in the face. There are some light cracks that the overpainting is covering. Overpainting is on the right nostril, on a star crack on the forehead, and a couple more .25" diameter spots. To the naked eye this overpainting is not detectable. There is significant overpainting to the shadows on the dress bodice of the figure, and the middle of the skirt lace pattering, these are also not noticeable to the naked eye. The highlights are vibrant under black light, they have some possible over painting, but the highlights retain uniform signs of age. There is some scattered light grime and dust. There are a few faint line scuffs to the surface in the upper right corner.
