Pre-Columbian, Northern Peru, ca. 600 BCE. Polychrome pottery vessel used to hold water and other liquids, usually tied to a belt and carried long distances - much like a canteen. Decorated with nice abstract design in four quadrants, then stone-burnished. Size: Â 10"H.
