Description
BLOWN-MOLDED TWELVE-PANEL FONT WHALE OIL STAND LAMP, fiery opalescent, pyriform font with two-ring lower extension, raised on a pressed hexagonal base with ringed standard and flared foot, waferless two-part construction, detached pewter collar. Fitted with a period tin double-tube burner. Patrick F. Slane's American Glass Co., East Cambridge, MA. Circa 1840-1847. 7 3/8" H to top of collar, 3 3/8" D base.
