CUT OVERLAY QUATREFOIL KEROSENE STAND LAMP, cobalt blue to colorless, stylized quatrefoils and fans within large oval bands over eight large elongated panels and eight punties, cobalt blue Baroque base, brass connector, No. 2 fine-line collar. Fitted with a period set-up comprising an E. F. Jones No. 2 lip burner, thumbwheel marked "E. F. JONES / PATENT / JANUARY 11, 1859", with a Merrill's air director, marked "R. S. MERRILL'S PATENT. JUNE 14. 1859.", brass shade ring, globular-form colorless shade with frosted finish and intricately cut stylized floral pattern with alternating scrolls and ribbing, factory polishing to the top rim, and a colorless lip chimney. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co., and others. Shade probably Mt. Washington Glass Co. Third quarter 19th century. 24 1/4" H to top of shade, 14 1/2" H to top of collar, 5 5/8" SQ base. Shade 8 1/2" H, 6" D fitter.

Condition
Excellent condition, font with some light scattered wear and a small spot of abrasions to shoulder, stem with a very minute bruise, foot with a minute exterior flake and a small shallow chip to underside. Burner with some light corrosion, shade undamaged, chimney fitter with flakes/roughness and top with a small shallow flake.
