Signed at the colophon by Mary Austin but inexplicably not signed by Adams. A masterpiece of American photography. Ansel Adams himself printed all 1,296 photographs used in the 108 copies of the book. The plates are titled as follows: North House (Hlauuma), South House (Hlaukwima), A Man of Taos, Ruins of Old Church, New Church, Girl of Taos, North House (End View), South House - Harvest, Old Man of Taos, South House - Woman Winnowing Grain, North House - Kiva and Thunder Clouds, Church at Ranchos de Taos.
