BRIAN MAHON (1862 - 1930) Irish born general of the British Army and Senator of the Irish Free State. Appointed as the Commander-in-Chief Ireland in 1916 in the lead up to the Anglo-Irish war. Superb oversize S.P. 14 1/2"" x 19 1/2"" sepia boldly signed at bottom also signed by the photographer. A collector has penned notes concerning the general's career at bottom.
