TESTING SPACE CONDITIONS ON EARTH GEORGE R. STEINCAMP Lieut. Colonel USAF and chief of the Department of Astroecology at the School of Aviation Medicine at Randolph Air Force Base pioneer in the study of space on the human body. Steincamp constructed a capsule to simulate conditions in space and from February 10-16 1958 Airman First Class DONALD G. FARRELL lived in it. Fine lot of three items includes two 8"" x 10"" news photos showing Farrell's first and last day in the ""capsule"" titled by him: ""Last look outside!"" and ""Mission Complete"" signed and dated on the corresponding days along with a T.L.S. on official letterhead 1p. 4to. Mar. 28 1958 advising that Farrell: ""...had no disability of any kind following our test"". Overall very good.
