""COLD-BLOODED"" ANTI-PARTISAN WARFARE IN CROATIA KONSTANTIN KAMMERHOFER (1899-1958) Lieutenant General of Police and Commissioner of the Reichsführer-SS in the Independent State of Croatia. He slaughtered partisans with great brutality. Found dead in a hotel. Typed D.S. 4pp.4to. [n.p.] July 27 1944 concerning ""Operation Rouen II"" a large scale anti-partisan operation carried out largely by Croatian forces under German direction. The document cites three German police volunteers for their ""cold bloodedness"" one soldier for rescuing fellow soldiers etc. and asks that they be awarded the Ante Pavelic Silver Medal for Bravery. File holes at left else very good.
