Hans Krebs (1888 - 1947) Ethnic German Nazi Party member and SS-Brigadeführer from Czechoslovakia. From 1938 to 1945 he was government president in Aussig, later becoming the Reichsgau Sudetenland. Krebs was executed in Prague 1947. Fine association T.L.S. on his Regierungspraesident Aussig letterhead 1p. 4to. Aussig Nov. 15 1940 to an unnamed SS-Gruppenfuhrer. Krebs thanks his correspondent for congratulations upon his promotion to SS-Brigadefuhrer adding: ""...I am proud that the Reichsfuhrer-SS awarded my work for Fuhrer and Reich and my fight to keep the ideas of the Fuhrer pure. I also acknowledge...your constant support of my requests and recommendations especially at the time of the liberation of my Sudeten German homeland..."". File holes in left margin else very good.
