BOERI VIA FILIPPO CORRIDONE 7 ROMA"" with several other circular stamps at the corners from the same publisher. A rare and possibly unpublished work but intended for reproduction by the postcard publisher V. E. Boeri Rome. A tribute to those troops who maintained lines of communication critical to modern warfare. Bundled picks bayonets shovels and axe at center in the form of a more than subtle fasces. Matted. Overall very clean with a few areas of minor pencil smudging.
