ANTIQUE MEAT SLICER AND CAST IRON GRIST GRINDER, 19TH C, 2 PCS. H 6" & 14", W 10" & 15", L 27" & 22":Meat slicer consisting a flat board with four inlaid diagonal metal blades along with a square wood frame which houses the meat portion and slides along the board when slicing, 6" H. x 27" L x 10" W. One Cast iron grist grinder mounted on wood base. Hand driven fly wheel which turns grinder inside of cast iron housing, 14" H. x 22" L. (base). From the Michigan Governor Pingree estate. Gov. Hazen Stuart Pingree (August 30, 1840 - June 18, 1901) was a four-term Republican mayor of Detroit (1889- 1897) and the 24th Governor of the U.S. State of Michigan (1897-1901).
