Description
Figure of a galloping horse, made of the finest white porcelain by Rosenthal of Germany. Sculpted by the well known and celebrated German porcelain sculptor Professor Theodor Karner, who worked for Rosenthal in the period 1919-1934, the period between WWI and WWII. This is model number 1136, issued circa 1957 Bahnhof-Selb factory and titled 'The Stallion Mohammed'. Well marked, with the green Rosenthal mark and with the incised attribution to Prof. T. Karner. Finely glazed, left white. Measurements: Approx. 7.5" x 7" high x 2"
