Set of three. Underglaze transfer decorations in Blue & White. The pattern name is Avona, and features a geometric ribbon border and a central medallion, with a windmill, bamboo, butterflies and cross-stitching - so characteristic for the modern at the period Aesthetic movements. Made by Holmes, Stonier & Hollinshead Pottery from Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, England. All three are fully marked. Design Registration mark dates them back to 15th of January 1881. Measurements: Approx. 9.75" diameter (across) each one
