A large handled leather case, the printed text now lacking, the horn covering largely complete but cracked and broken into several pieces. Overall approximately 12x6", housed in a custom felt-lined, book-shaped cloth case.

A rare survivor, likely from the Elizabethan period, gilt stamping on the rear and the faint traces of numbers written along the edges by an early owner.

Leather dry and a bit brittle, horn covering cracked and lacking a few small pieces; very good.
