After Pierre-Jules Mene (French,1810-1879), "Hound with Pheasant", patinated bronze table top sculpture, unsigned. 20th century figural sculpture depicting a sporting or hunting dog--likely a Setter standing on textured oblong integral base with tail extended. Dog with pheasant or other game bird in mouth and with head turned toward side looking at presumably its owner. Animal sculpture further raised on black stone plinth. Approximate height 17.5", width 23.125", depth 10.6".
