Description
After Richard Caton Woodville II (American, 1856-1927). "All That Was Left of Them", colored lithograph, published circa 1904. Lithograph depicts a group of tattered soldiers during a battle at Modderfontein Farm during the South African War (or Second Boer War), the scene in a desert setting with horses charging on either side and Boer forces in the background surrounding a mass of British Soldiers. Inscribed below image. Framed approximately 36.5" x 46", sight size approximately 22.25" x 31.75"
