The AEAA is very pleased to present this next piece of valuable Vaseline Opalescent & Iridized glass items from the respected Loren (Butch) Morse collection. This lot represents a stunning 1985-1996 Fenton Art Glass double crimped rim, bulbous Topaz Opalescent Coin Dot long neck vase, Ware #1457-TO. This gorgeous cased glass vase has fine dots and excellent Opalescence. Our example explodes under black light, plus it is in wonderful condition. It has the proper oval sticker, and not the round one used for QVC from 1990-1995. our handsome Fenton weighs 1# 11 oz., and measures 5 x 5 x 8 inches tall. Loren Morse was a respected family man and Vaseline collector, and his untimely passing a year ago was a blow to everyone. In 1959, Fenton was the first American company to re-issue their Topaz (Vaseline) glass, subsequent to the expiration of the Hazardous Materials Act (1942), which banned the commercial use of all Uranium, reserving it for the U.S. war effort.
