Silver Etrog (citron) case. Two sections. Nurnberg, 1800-1820.
14 cm. high; 12.5 cm. wide; 170 grams.
Oval case made of nice, delicate hammer work. Decorative leaves and fruits on the base and under the rim. Removable cover, also decorated. Designed in the "Biedermeier style" popular in Germany at the beginning of the 19th century. Very fine – excellent condition.
