Letter from Admor Mordechai Shalom Yosef of Sadigura to Rabbi Dovid Moshe Rosen, Rabbi of Romania. Tel Aviv, [1970].
[1] leaf, typewritten on the Admor's stationery. The Admor asks for assistance for the synagogue of Sadigura chassidim in Bucovina and other locations. Handwritten greetings written and signed by the Admor at the conclusion.
Admor Rabbi Mordechai Shalom Yosef of Sadigura was born in [1896] to his father, Rabbi Aharon Sadigura – a direct descendant of Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin. He served as Admor from the age of sixteen, until his death in 1979 – for almost seventy years. At a young age, he was appointed a member of the Moetzet Gedolei HaTorah of Agudat Yisrael and was a prestigious Admor.
Filing holes. Light marginal tear. Very fine condition. With an envelope with the Admor's logo.
