A Continental rosewood, brass , pewter and bone marquetry stereoscopic viewer , late 19th/ early 20th century, of rectangular pedestal form, the top with twin hinged flaps opening for access to the rotating movement, the slides contained within depicting various European and Middle Eastern scenes to include the 'Place de la Republique and Place de la Bastille and Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris, Parisian theatre scenes, views of The Dead Sea, British topographical scenes, publishers to include Underwood & Underwood, the front and side panels decorating with marquetry depicting cherub masks, scrolling acanthus and flaming urns, on an integral stepped plinth base incorporating a small drawer, 118cm high, 30cm wide, 30.5cm deep
