At the lip and underneath stamped with hallmarks London, Sterling, Date letter and once Queen Victoria (1838-1890) as well as maker’s mark George William Adams (reg. 1840-1883)

Offered here are two English silver cups from mid- and late 19th century. One cup on curved foot with cylindrical body and tapered wall is decorated with engraved flowers. The second cup with tapered body and elongated s-shaped handle with scroll work is ornamented with engraved festoons, medallions and leaves.
Both cups are stamped with hallmarks London, Sterling, Date letter and once Queen Victoria (1838-1890) as well as maker’s mark George William Adams (reg. 1840-1883). One cup is indistinctly hallmarked on the underside. They are both in good condition with slight signs of age and wear. Height: 10.3 – 11.5 cm. Weight: approx. 323 grams.
