A RARE PINK-GROUND FAMILLE-ROSE PORCELAIN JARDINIERE
CHINESE,SEAL MARK AND PERIOD OF JIAQING (1796-1820)
Robustly potted, the tall upright lobed wall divided into 16 rectangular sections, each panel decorated in alternating scrolls of red and blue florals all reserved on a bright pink ground, the raised lip with Indian red & burnished gold, the interior and base with glazed turquoise, the underside inscribed in iron-red on a white ground with a six-character reign mark
6.80 in. (17cm.) diameter

Excellent condition, the color is good, the gilt edge on the top is still highly visible, the proportions are good,  Other than perhaps some glaze pitting / or pooling in one/two areas there is nothing wrong with this bowl.

RARE FAMILLE ROSE PINK-GROUND NARCISSUS BOWL SEAL MARK AND PERIOD OF JIAQING (1796-1820).A finely potted column-body of sixteen crescent panels rising on four molded ruyi feet tapering outward in a gentle curve to a mouth with flattened rim exactingly painted in alternating scrolls of red and blue florals. The raised lip on Indian red & burnished gold. The pink body, painted with speckled blue bats & pendant musical stones between paired facing panels of stylized lotus flower scrolls, the elements exactly placed and painted in shaded enamels. The pairing of the design elements and the precision & skill in the execution of the shaded enamel artistry were symbolic of 18th century Imperial style and obvious on this Famille Rose bowl. Interior and foot painted in turquoise glaze with the Jiaqing seal mark written in red.
