The walrus and horn grips with profiled pommel mounted in engraved and nielloed silver. The broad blade wrought with multiple fullers and panels and tapering tip, struck with an Arabic maker’s name. In its leather-covered wooden scabbard with nielloed silver mounts decorated en suite with the hilt. Late 19th century. Minor wear to blade, leather replaced. Overall length 54 cm. _x000D_
