A Khamseh Shiraki Palas on bright yellow ground with schematic diamond pattern, which covers the entire field and is separated by two squares borders. The colors of the pattern are red, yellow, brown, blue and black.
Kamseh is a confederation of several nomadic tribes in the south of Persia. A Shiraki is a special kind of Palas (blanket/cover) which has been produced in the western part of Kerman. The colored square patterns in the narrow borders are knotted.
The carpet is in good condition according to age. Smaller repairs and traces of use visible. The dimensions are 2.16 x 1.66 m.
