The maps are by Thomas Kitchen, and are as follows: [1] An Accurate Map of the Seat of War in the Kingdom of Prussia as also in Bohemia, Lusatia, Silesia, Saxony, Weestphalia &c.; [2nd map] A New Map of the British Dominions in North America, with the Limits of the Governments annexed threto by the late Treaty of Peace, and settled by Proclamation, October 7th. 1763. (showing full area east of the Mississippi up to about 52 degrees north); [3rd map] A New and Correct Chart of the Seat of War, on the Coasts of France, Spain, and Portugal… [4th map] A New Map of the Seat of War on the Coast of Malabar & Coromandel, in the Empire of the Great Mogol. 8vo. Contemp full leather. Front cover separated, rear joint brittle, spine darkened and worn. A few leaves vertically creased (usually with wear to outer edge, including the second pp163-164). Interior very good. Includes coverage of the French and Indian War, including “State of our conquests in North America. Three Governments. Reasons for This Arrangmenent. Indians Commence hostilities. Causes of the War. Indians neglected…” (the first page 18-24); “Plan of the Indian war. Frontiers of the middle settlements wasted. Forts taken. Indians repulse our troops at Detroit.
