Goddess of the Moon statue, sculpted in dark green nephrite. Carved in traditional Oriental design, the deity stands dressed in flowing robe at mountain side holding plate of prunus and ruyi scepter, all symbols of status and immortality. The low relief floral background continues the motif, while hint of moon is represented. Date between late Qing Dynasty to late Twentieth Century style. Measurements: 24” H x 21” W x 4 ½” D.
