Artist: Csemiczky, Tihamer. 1948. cca. 84 x 55 cm. Vintage poster. Paper, offset. Csemiczky was one of the most important modernist graphic artists between the 1930's and the 1950's. He followed a geometric, constructivist poster style. This poster advertises light bulbs for automobiles, and it was designed most probably in the 1940's. The design is very impressive, showing great quality and performance of the product. The driver in the car is able to see the dangerous horseshoe left on the road. The composition is a beautiful diagonal late Art Deco composition.

Fine, unrestored, unfolded. Minor paper loss at the bottom, a few small tears, a small hole at the upper right corner which was folded.
