Pair of modern wing chairs in Šípek’s typical neo-baroque style

The name of the 'Pro J. P.' chair refers to the designer, architect and Otto Wagner student Jože Ple?nik (1872-1957). The chair reveals Šípek’s preference for neo-baroque forms. The special feature of the seats is the user’s possibility to back down discreetly into the chair and stay in contact with the environment at the same time.

The chairs are in very good condition with slight signs of wear on the covering. They are 115 x 69 x 90 cm in size.

Born in Prague, the architect and designer is known for his individual style, which is characterized by unusual, colorful and opulent forms. His architectures and designs are known worldwide and he has offices in Prague, Amsterdam and Shanghai. (cko)
