CARTUNES ON PARADE, EPOXY RESIN AND COMPOSITE, CAR SCULPTURE, 2005, H 7', W 3'6", L 7', "LISTEN TO THE RHYTHM OF THE FALLING RAIN":'Cartunes On Parade was the 2005 merger between Detroit, Michigan and Windsor Ontario artists interpreting the melding of the automobile and music, resulting in 150 sculptures created by individual artist from both cities. Sculpture artists Judith and Bob Peebles designed this lot entitled: 'Listen To The Rhythm Of The Falling Rain' and depicts a small blue car with applied stylized raindrops on the body, a clear acrylic cloud with angled rain sheets landing on the roof of the car. . Originally displayed at the Detroit Renaissance Center in Downtown Detroit in 2005. Also displayed at the southeast Michigan 'Dream Cruise' in Detroit in 2012 and the Ann Arbor 'rolling sculpture' in 2012. Perfect object d'art for the corporate lobby or municipal common area.
