The early possibly silk fabric has been glued down to a piece of paper, which has then been glued to a piece of cardboard. In good condition. Image size measures 8.5 inches high by 7 inches wide. Frame measures 16.5 inches high by 14 inches wide. Peter Matthiessen embraced Zen Buddhism and regularly welcomed Zen students to a zendo, a place of meditation, on the grounds of his Sagaponack estate.
