Description
An early 19th century Mason's Ironstone part service, each piece decorated with a mandarin taking tea outside a pavilion watched by his wife and child, printed and impressed marks, comprising: ten soup plates, eighteen dinner plates, two fruit plates, a rectangular vegetable bowl, two square vegetable bowls, one cover, three sauce tureens, stands and four covers, two soup tureens, covers and stands, a drainer and a graded set of sixteen platters (67) (D)
Condition
One of the soup plates has a hair crack and two are rubbed. One of the dinner plates is cracked and nine are rubbed One of the two fruit plates is rubbed The sauce tureens have taken up some staining. The pair of 44cm wide platters are worn and rubbed The pair of 37cm platters likewise One of the pair of 32cm wide platters ahs two rim chips aand is worn All three of the 25.5cm wide platters are worn and rubbed All three of the 22.5cm platters have wear one particularly so
