An early 20th century split pearl and turquoise foliate brooch. The split pearl leaves, with circular turquoise cabochon bud detail. Length 4.8cms. Weight 6gms.

Overall condition fair. Surface scratches in keeping with general wear. There are some significant scratches to the base of the stem and an area of discolouration. The split pearls are fairly well matched and in good condition. one has visible wear to the nacre. The collets to the turquoise appear worn, there is some slight abrasion to the cabochons. The back catch has been replaced at a later date, there is a small areas of lead solder where an additional backing panel has been attached.
