Description
A Roman deep yellow glass grape flask, c. 2nd - 3rd Century AD, mold blown, the body in the form of a bunch of grapes sitting on a small disk foot, the neck is narrow with ring around the base, the flared mouth with collared rim. H: 5 1/8 in (14 cm). A nice example with deep golden yellow color, light iridescence and earthen deposits. Ex Los Angeles collection; Ex Jerusalem Gallery with copies of export documents.
