Item Details

Description

A white metal mounted snuff box, probably Georgian, the asymmetrical semi-circle set with mother-of-pearl to the hinged lid. Unmarked. Length measuring 4 cm.

Condition

The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Cracks and some wear to the surface of the metal. A covering of some sort to the inner base. Mother-of-pearl with a hairline fracture.
