This piece has a medium amount of grime and yellowing to the surface. There are some faint areas where there is less yellowing in the sky and the middle of the mountain range. This piece has some faint stretcher bar lines in the canvas about 2" into the picture. Under black light there is a significant varnish layer covering the surface, masking restoration, and possibly causing the yellowing. To the naked eye there are a few pen tip - 1" diameter sections of overpainting in the sky. The bottom edge also has some possible overpainting about .5" into the canvas. This canvas has not been lined.
