This Chinese strand of Buddhist prayer beads is made of eighteen spherical green tourmaline beads with two purple tourmaline spacer beads. Descending is a pendant with seed pearls, a light green tourmaline bead, a purple and green pierced tourmaline pendant with a double sided carved shou surrounded by bats, ending in two carved and inscribed purple tourmaline beads as fruit with bats.

The mala is in good condition with inherent flaws and minimal use wear. Overall it measures 11 x 5/8 in. (length x width) and the pendant measures 5 ½ in. long.
