Description
Pre-Columbian, Mayan Territories, Honduras or El Salvador, Ca 550 to 900 CE. Large pottery cylinder vase in blackware - with numerous firing clouds giving it a multi-colored appearance. Glyph band circles around top and base, with bulbous midsection with repeating ribbing. Nice example! 8-1/4" H x 6-1/2" D.
