LE BON MARCHÈ STAIRCASE RAILING 14 RAILS, 2 NEWEL POSTS, 2 CONNECTORS C. 1925. These extraordinary decorative railings once lined the central stairway of Paris’ Bon Marché and matched the railings on the first floor balcony. They bear the original doré (gold wash) over brass. The railings were crafted by Edgar Brandt and exude the Art Deco aesthetic.
Dimensions may vary slightly from piece to piece; does not include original rail cap. Interested parties are urged to make an appointment through Guernsey’s to view the staircase in its entirely at Urban Archaeology’s location on Franklin Street.
