Paul Jenkins is an important exponent of the American Abstract Expressionism. The highest record for a painting by Paul Jenkins is approximately € 70,000

The present abstract painting in bright colors is the work of the American painter Paul Jenkins (1923-2012) from 1982. It is not only through the colors, but also through the asymmetric forms - in places clearly drawn, in others blur and dissolved - that the painting is enhanced with a decorative quality of the painting. The artist was a major exponent of the American abstract expressionism and has created works that reveal the echoes of the lyrical abstraction and the Tachism. Spontaneous improvisations, the unconscious and painted sensations became the protagonists of the images.

Condition:

The painting is in very good condition, showing minimal traces of use. It measures 48.5 x 33 cm in size, the framed dimensions are 52 x 36.5 cm.
