Bruce Lee’s Hand Strengthener with COA Bruce Lee was obsessed with forearm training – a mania shared among the majority of the martial artists who want to have hands of steel. Lee spent significant amount of time developing his grip and finger strength through various exercises. Bruce lee used to design his personal grip training devices which were built for him by George Lee who was an old friend from San Francisco. “He used to send me all of these designs for exercise equipment,” recalls George Lee, “and I’d build them according to his specs.” Bruce Lee was famous for his one handed finger push-ups using only the index finger and thumb of one hand. Another one of his nifty demonstrations was thrusting his fingers through full cans of Coca Cola! (This is when soft drink cans were made of steel and much thicker than today’s aluminum cans.) This is an authentic and important piece of Bruce Lee’s custom made exercise equipment made for him by George Lee. It was gifted to George Lee in the late to mid 1960’s and has remained in his possession for more than 40 years.
